Samuel Raharjo

Business Counselor

Samuel Raharjo is a Business Counselor with Financial Literacy Counsel Inc. and Customplan Financial Advisor Inc. He graduated with a Bachelor of Communication from Simon Fraser University in 2006 and received his business graduate degree from Segal Graduate School of Business in 2008.

He is passionate about promoting financial literacy for business owners and their families. With the largest intergenerational wealth transfer in the coming decade, Samuel believes that financial literacy is the only way to maintain the integrity of the family unit and to protect the wealth transition from one generation to the next.

Samuel is a licensed life insurance agent, a licensed Mutual Fund advisor, a licensed Segregated Fund advisor and a Registered Deposit Broker Agent. He is also an active member of ADVOCIS, from 2008, the oldest and largest association of financial advisors and planners in Canada.

With his vast experience in the international community, Samuel believes in global financial literacy. In addition, he believes that every business and individual has the responsibility not only to amass wealth for themselves but to contribute to the society around them and to inspire the community internationally. This is one of the reasons why Samuel works and volunteer on a regular basis with the international community.

He is currently appointed as the Financial liaison for the Indonesian Consulate in Vancouver, and an advisor for the Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) community in Vancouver.

“The perfect society is never an impossibility, it just requires enough people to push their family and friends to be financially literate” – Samuel Raharjo.
