Stan is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with over 15 years of experience and has been working with the Financial Literacy Counsel since 2010. He understands the financial and personal stress that professionals experience and the demands placed on their time. Helping physicians and optometrists gain a sense of control over their finances so they can concentrate on their practices, their families and their activities outside of their profession, gives him great satisfaction. He has advised hundreds of clients on every aspect of their financial lives including managing their investments for long-term financial security, evaluating insurance needs, optimizing personal and corporate tax strategies, and coordinating estate planning.  Stan uses a holistic approach to help clients achieve their personal wealth goals with comprehensive and customized solutions through coordinated and proactive wealth plans.  

Stan has been featured in the BC Doctors of Optometry’s Eye Digest magazine in an article on “Financial Wellness for ODs”.  He has also been a speaker at many organizations over the years on the topic of financial planning and wealth management. At home, Stan is usually busy with his two young sons, who are very active and enjoy spending time outdoors.  He and his wife enjoy travelling, good food, and live concerts.
